For a school project, I undertook the Zumba Website development with a keen focus on design and using raw CSS for a hands-on experience. The challenge was to create a user-friendly website for Zumba enthusiasts with a particular emphasis on simplicity in payments.

Design Focus

With an eye for design, I crafted engaging profiles for Zumba instructors and designed an intuitive interface to ensure a seamless user experience. The emphasis was on making the website visually appealing and easy to navigate.

Simplicity in Payments

Understanding the importance of keeping payments simple, I implemented a straightforward payment system. The goal was to create a hassle-free process for users to register for classes and make payments with ease.

Farm Database

Details about the Farm Database project.

Project Overview

For a school project, I developed a Farm Database application using Microsoft Visual Studio, utilizing C# and Windows Forms. The primary focus was on efficient data modeling and user-friendly functionalities.

Functionality

Data Modeling: Established a connection to the database, created classes to model table columns, and loaded table rows as objects in data structures.
Livestock Data Listing: Displayed information about all farm animals and commodity prices in tables with rows and columns.
Livestock Statistics Reporting: Provided reports on government tax, total profitability or loss, and average weight of all farm animals.

Query Farm Livestock

Query by ID: Retrieved information about a farm animal using its unique ID.
Query by Colour: Displayed statistics based on the entered colour, including the percentage of animals and government tax paid.
Query by Type: Provided information about a selected animal type, including livestock produce per day and total water consumption.
Query by Weight: Selected livestock above a specified weight threshold, calculating average weight, total operation cost, and profitability or loss per day.

Database Operations

Delete a Row: Allowed farmers to delete a record from the database when an animal dies.
Insert a New Row: Enabled farmers to add new rows to the database tables for new livestock arrivals, generating IDs based on existing IDs.

Rick And Morty API

Details about the Rick and Morty API project.

Project Overview

For this project, I explored the vast universe of Rick and Morty by leveraging the Rick and Morty API. This API provides extensive data about characters and episodes from the beloved animated series. My goal was to create an interactive and dynamic JavaScript application that allows users to explore and interact with the rich content offered by the API.

Functionality

Character Information: Displayed detailed information about characters, including names, species, and statuses.
Episode Listing: Presented a list of episodes with relevant details such as episode name, air date, and episode code.

API Interaction and Testing

I thoroughly researched the Rick and Morty API, evaluated its endpoints, and tested different API methods using Postman. My evaluation criteria included response times, data accuracy, and the overall reliability of the API.

JavaScript Application

Implementation: Developed a JavaScript application that interacts with the Rick and Morty API to dynamically fetch and display information.
Extension: Expanded the initial application by adding one to two additional web pages, each focusing on a different aspect of the Rick and Morty universe.
